Willa Gorilla

Okay. We all have goofy names for our pets. But Willow has quite an extensive moniker. Willy Filly, Willow da Pillow, Willow Armadillo, Willy Woo, Willsonitis, Willson, The Willmyster, Willy Wonka, Willa, Wills, Woopdy-Doo, Will-da-beast, and my personal favourite which Graham thought up, and still to this day makes me laugh when he says it is..... Willem Dafoe.

God at work or play?

I love cloud formations. The way the sun plays and dances through them. I like to think it's God's way of giving us unique, one of a kind views upwards to him. Have you ever noticed that when you look up you automatically have a smile on your face? It's almost impossible to frown. Yeah, you're trying it right now. I know it! Hehe... We need to look up more often and experience the art that God has created for us to enjoy. He smiles when we smile :)

I also like creating photographs that look like paintings. The image in the middle is one of those. If you want to know how I did it without using Photoshop, you have to contact me!

Getaway to rainy cold L.A.

I was going through my "non work related photographs" from 2008. I came to the quick realization that I don't have many! I guess I was working too much to go out and enjoy myself and my craft.... That needs to change.

These images were from our trip to L.A. in February. Graham and I took an 8 day stint down there and didn't pack for what was about to be the worst weather southern California experienced in years. We needed our winter clothes and umbrellas. So much for getting away to a sun destination! The impending rain and cold really hampered my ability to get the pictures I wanted. What I did get, was memorable. Here's a snippit.

Better late than never.....

I've been procrastinating this whole "blogging" idea. I'm finally getting with the program and now that I have, I'm glad I did. Once the new year rolls around and I get busier with work, I'll have more to showcase here. For now, this is it. Angela, Kevin & Sergio - you are my blog!

Sergio, the camera ham

I had the pleasure of doing a photo session with my good friends Angela and Kevin, and their incredibly photogenic little boy, Sergio. He insisted on being cute. I didn't argue with him. Thought I'd just suck it up and deal with his amazingly adorable little face and equally adorable personality. It was tough. (wink, wink)
